Smoking
To comply with regulations smoking is permitted in designated bedrooms only. All public areas are non smoking.
Currency and credit cards accepted
We accept payment in Sterling only.
Medical and dental
24 local doctor/medical service available nearby. Dentist within 3 miles.
Pets
Small dogs are allowed at the managers discretion and a housekeeping charge applies. Guide Dogs are welcome at the hotel.
Disabled
2 accessible rooms are available on the ground floor. The hotel has an accessible front door at entrance. Lounge bar and area of the restaurant are both wheelchair accessible. Lift available for all 3 floors of the hotel. Argyle Suites are the only meeting rooms which are not wheelchair accessible.
Special diets
We cater for just about any special diets, but advance notice is preferred. Vegetarian options are available at all times in our lounge and restaurant
Children and families
Children of all ages are welcome. A limited number of family rooms are available. Children up to the age of 18 are free when sharing with 2 adults. Meals are charged as follows:-
- Children under 13 eat free
- Cots and high chairs are available. We have baby listening facilities.
What is and is not included in price
All quoted prices are inclusive of VAT at the ruling rate. There is no service charge. Gratuities are at the customers’ discretion

Communications – email, fax, modem &c facilities
Fax and photocopying facilities are available at our Business Centre between 9 – 5pm and reception thereafter. Internet access is available in all bedrooms with broadband available in selected areas.
Special occasions – if you’re celebrating one during your stay....we can make it memorable.... Champagne, chocolate and flowers can all be arranged advance notice required.
